View Full Version : Inoue's potential.

I personally believe that the author(s) should extend/develop her power already. That she would have some confidence in order to protect herself instead of always relying on characters such as Ichigo. Now, I'm not saying that she's having wonderful friends like those are wrong. Only that she could defend them to as much as they are doing for her.
Do you also believe that Inoue's potential could evolve?

What most people forget to see , is that her powers are more then enough to be considered as a "overpowered" character , especially seeing as she has the ability to defy god's judgment and eradicate any time-space injuries.
However , the fact that she needs help of Ichigo is due to the fact that her power/ability differentiates from others and is usable on other terms then outrageous swinging with swords ,so further evolving her would - in a sense - be pointless seeing as she already is overpowered with a power that no one possesses and is considered to be extremely useful.
Excellent topic Wonder Boy , I actually wanted to make a thread similar to this! :)

I think Inoue is about to surprise a lot of people. Not because of her gifts, but because people are forgetting one key thing - what Aizen has done.
Recall Ulqui's words to her a good few chapters back. Something happened in her time in Hueco Mundo and whatever it was, I honestly believe has changed her in some way. Not some psychological change or any mumbo jumbo but a genuine physical change.
For example: The kind of change a Hollow goes through to become an Arrancar. That was after all what they were working on. But honestly, have people forgotten how this change would effect Aizen and co?
Aizen was working on Hollowfication for Shinigami (himself and co.) just as much as the process of turning a Hollow into a Shinigami (Arrancar).
Hollow -> Shinigami
Shinigami -> Hollow
...but everyone seems to be forgetting the entire process of hollowfication in the face of the espada, forgetting that while Aizen is turning Hollows into Shinigami, chances are quite good that he's dabbling in the Hollowfication process for himself and friends. I'm pretty sure Aizen isn't making Arrancar out of good will and fortune...
My current question is, does his current project have anything to do with Inoue and her abilities? And what exactly did they do to Inoue...

Yes, that was exactly what I meant regarding having her in the battlefield. However, I have also acknowledge her in that sense as she seems to be one of the most important characters.

Heh. =)

The only thing I recall that they somewhat tried to manipulate her in one way or another. Like Schiffer who tried to make her pessimistic about Ichigo & co saving her and those other two who violently assaulted her, twice that is. But what are you suggesting here?

I think he's suggesting that Aizen made Orihime into a Vizard. And with the power she already has in human form, the power she would've gained as a Vizard would be tremendous. Probably even God like.

yea i also think that they should expand her power because she said she wanted to help. she is helping by healing them when they get hurt but we need to see her get in battles. like when i think healing ability in blach i think like how the bount obsorb raysi, so i think she should also be able to do that when she fights. but aside from that there's nothing else to her as a fighter like she can be near the fights ready to heal anyone but that's not good enought what happens if they all pass out an she's trying to bring them back but some one attacks her, well then she's dead but not if she has incrible fighting moves
:agree:
btw: i don't thinl that she could ever be a Vizard, just because of the way the writter imprinted her attitude and personality

The logic of making her into a Vizard doesn't seem sound to me. Why would Aizen give such a intense powerup to a woman who could end up fighting against his side. Now I know Aizen is cocky and smug in himself and his powers; but either way, I don't see him doing that to a potential enemy.
Aizen just used her as the pawn in his scheme to get Ichigo & co. + a few captains out of the way. Also, she's not the fighting type and doesn't seem to have it in her to hurt someone. She won't get an attack powerup.

I didn't say I agree.
I don't think that would work at all.
Orihime as a Vizard? no, it wouldn't be possible. I know she wants to help out in the fights, but that wouldn't be the way for her to achieve that. But, yea, she does need to gain control of her powers she already has.

It wasn't that she was a pawn. Aizen's means aren't always so glamorous and tactful. He was simply curious. Curious about her power and the limits therein to said power. He stated as much, in his own little way.
But he did keep her around, and later comments about how she is now one of them and 'can't escape' lead me to believe something more was done. I don't think she has been changed into a Vaizard or anything, but I do think something was done that for all we know, she might not even be aware of. *shrug* Who knows?
Just what I think.

From all the posts in this thread , this post was the one that I agree with the most.
It's clearly more than evidential that something happened to Inoue - but as to what ? - that remains a mystery.
We'll hopefully gain more insight in the next couple of chapters about both Ichigo's new form and hopefully Inoue's "change."
